Is it possible to have a name like Maxfield Parrish and not become someone fascinating? Surely you could never stay a bag boy at grocery store, or an accountant on the third floor, four cubicles to the left. No, you would have to be a small man with an enormous black mustache who stood with one arm crooked behind his back, while ferocious lions and tigers obeyed your every command under the circus tent. As it is, Maxfield Parrish is actually a good-looking man who created good-looking paintings. And you may take that understatement and dress it in its proper adjectives as you see fit.
